46. What is "ballroom dance", exactly?
Answer:
Ballroom dance includes any dance you do while holding a partner. It is done to most popular and night club music. It consists of a multitude of different dances, ranging from the fast and lively swing, jive and disco hustle, to Latin style dances such as the fun salsa, the merengue, the sensual bolero, rumba and playful cha cha, to traditional dances such as the romantic waltz, the soft but jazzy foxtrot and emotionally charged tango. Each has its own special brand of music. Some dances are simple and easy, some highly technical, but all involve dancing with someone to the rhythm of the music, and that's what makes ballroom dance unique.
