American Indian Dance Theatre is a specialized performing arts company presenting the songs and dances of Native Americans in the United States and the First Nations of Canada. The company was founded in 1987 and included many members from different tribal backgrounds.
In 2006 the American Indian Dance Theatre joined a multi-cultural consortium at THE NEW LATC called the "Cultural Roundtable", formed to bring multi-cultural theatre to spectators in the Los Angeles Theatre Center venues in downtown Los Angeles. |
