The National Dance Institute of New Mexico was founded in 1990 by Catherine Oppenheimer after NDI's first founder Jacques d'Amboise visited New Mexico. The people at NDI-NM put on a huge 500 kid show in Santa Fe every year the first week in May and the last week of April some of NDI's shows are... 100 years of American Music and Dance, Route 66 Legends of the Road, Got Jazz, READ! a Celebration of Reading. Since 2003 NDI has had two advanced teams the S.W.A.T. and the Celebration Team in that year NDI formed the Xcel team. In 2008 the NDI folks introduce the Junior XCel and XCel apprentice teams. |
