Indira Gandhi Culture Centre of the High Commission of India is going to organize Bharatnatyam dance performances by an associate Indian group led by a famous supporter of Bharatnatyam dance Nivedita Parthasarthy. The performances will be classic by live music.

Nivedita Parthasarthy, a a famous dancer of Bharatnatyam dance in India, started her profession under Guru Smt Padma Ramanathan and Kum R Padma and completed her Nattuvangam course under Guru Seetharama Sharma. Later she engages in numerous dance ballets managed by the famous dancer, Vijayanthimala Bali, of India. She initiated her dance school “Nivedanam - A Cultural Centre for Performing Arts” in 1988 and has been teaching students in classical Bharatnatyam dance at Chennai, Bangalore and Bali, Indonesia. She has competed broadly in Maldives, Europe, America, Canada, Reunion Islands, Mauritius and Indonesia.She is also a multitalentedchoreographer.

She is a graded performer of the Indian nationalized TV Channel, Doordarshan, and has performed at the Rashtrapathi Bhaban in 2007 before the President of India. She has also competed in chief celebrations of India like the Puri Beach Festival, Andaman Dweep Utsav, Badri - Kedar Utsav, Bharat Utsav -IIT, Shimla Summer Festival, Tirupati Brahmotsov, Kodaikanal Festival, Soorya Festival- Trivandrum, Sri Villiputhur Aadipooram Utsav, Childambaram Natyanjali, Mamallapuram Tourism Festival, Aurangabad - Ellora Festival, Travancore Palace Festival etc

The ballet dancers are presenting the free performances in four cities.

Dancers from all over the country ballet troupe plan to offer free, outdoor performances in four Iowa cities this month. Jacob Yarrow, spokesman for the U-of-I’s Hancher Auditorium, says people of the towns are buoyant to bring grass chairs and picnics to make for a pleasant twilight.

“We’re really eager about the distribution of dance, ballet in meticulous, with all of the communities concerned,” Yarrow says. “A talented ballet business is not amazing to see with a lot of reliability, so the general concept behind the plan is to share the ballet dance with many people”. Besides the open performances, he says the ballet troupe will perform in schools in all four cities.

“Ballet dancers will visit basic schools in all four of our mass communities,” Yarrow says.“We’ve sent guides and an elementary material to give children’s a morsel of setting information before the dance company comes and start the class.

Yarrow says this month’s attempt classify three-fold assignment, which involves teaching, research and service. The school performance and the free performance help us the people to gain more knowledge in ballet and also the teaching institution which serves to the entire state”.

The troupe consists of 11 dancers where six women and five men. The program will constitute of variety of styles performed by enormous choreographers.

The BANGKOK’S dance festival has arrived.

This is the 12th year celebration, where many overgenerous amalgam of old and new forms is going to be held in the festival. This festival has got some specialty so only the people are much attracted towards this cultural event. The festival is attracted toward two half.

The great opening ceremony of the Novosibirsk State Theatre will be held and the grand production of ‘Prince Igor.’ The highlight of the festival is that the Novosibirsk State Theatre is well known for its mega productions where they will be 290 artists performed in this how. The Latino dance festival is going to present a salsa celebration

Get ready participants those who are thinking that your are addicted to salsa and salsa as the passion, soul, life and everything in this world. This the first time for the Latino dance festival. So it will be an immense and electrifying performance will be performed.

This is a salsa festival it is a big parts in its evolution, hence the incredibly and the most excellent countrywide and worldwide dancers and, performers only will be presented on the stage. All the combination of the dance will be formed as festival but this festival has got something different. Did u guess it? It’s absolutely only one dance which is going to be on focus that is our immense and congenial Ballet Dance.

The glorifying man Robert de Warren who was the head for the Sarasota Ballet for 13 years now joined the hands with Sarasota Opera the principal dancer of American Ballet Theater. Both the humorous guy has made a plan to give a new festival for the upcoming youngsters. Colossal news to all the youth.

The Cuban dancer Jose Manuel Carreño was the first director of the festivals has danced many times as a visitor artist with the Sarasota Ballet under de Warren’s direction. Now currently joined with American Ballet Theater where he says that he is much thrilled about the event, where it will focus mainly on the student dancers working primarily on the Opera House. He also insisted that there is a difference between dancing in a studio and on the stage.

The dance festival will comprises of two apparatus

Master classes and two performances by several guest artists in December

Month long dance workshop next August, which will culminate in four performances

The competitions are planned next winter in many cities such as U.S, Sarasota and in abroad. There will be two group dancers such as for subordinate of 15 to 16 year old and pre-professional group of 16 to 21 year.40 members are required to fill the places. Dancers and faculty will be placed in the opera’s apartments, which are on Second Street downtown.

The cost of the festival is about $500,000, where the association has been established as artistic contributions. The Scholarships will be given only to the part of the students; rest of the students should pay between $450 and $550 per week.

Bharathanatyam dance and Flamenco come together in ‘Journey through Genre’

The great Indian traditional dance and flamenco recital will meet each other on the stage. It is great to see both the dance in more gracious form. The dancers will feel rhythm on the stage, with the music played by the players where these two traditional dances will be performed. It is an immense information to hear itself.

It is a two variety of culture where

• Flamenco style-Spain dance

• Bharathanatyam-traditional dance for the Indians

Both the dance have the same resemblance in the rhythm structure and the inter rhythms says Ramya Ramnarayan an award winner for the Bharathanatyam. The great specialty of the show is that they will have the live musicians from India and New York City, and the immense dancers from the Alborada Spanish Dance Theater and the Nrithyanjali Ensemble.

Last year there was joint performance where Ms. Ramnarayan worked with Lisa Botalico the co-artist director for the Alborada Spanish Dance Theater and the co-director of Journey through Genre .where the Bharathanatyam’s pressure on the Flamenco style. That show had a rigorous Spanish style. So she says this year we can do something more and more mutual where audience are much energetic to watch

These two cultural dances insist on the comparison between the styles. The flamenco dance style integrates principals from Bharathanatyam. Anything joined will be a risk but no one knows how it will come but we will just show the root styles, combination and difference present in it says Ramnarayan.

The accent of the Indian dance is that a narration of a story in the show. Surely it will be quite interesting to watch over it. Totally there will be 17 performances in which when the Spanish music is played flamenco dance will be performed and when the Indian music is played Bharathantyam dance will be performed. Then there will be the combination of both the dance.

The biggest challenge of this show is the costume and music because this is the first combination so there is no song for it, so only the live musicians are presented. The costumes will be quite different for the dance styles. Hence they have decided the costumes which look similar enough to show the cultural connection.

She also said audiences are the great guide because some will watch the combination and other will watch the Indian traditional dance. The love of exploring a different culture, performing and dance brought the show together.

The name itself is something different dancesport championship this is not heard by anyone, but the Maharashtra peoples well knows about it.

The unwrap championship 2010 is going to be held on 12th September this Sunday where it is an open challenge and enormous people can participate.

The sport, an appearance of spirited dancing is new to everyone. Particularly this league has got some specialty, so only it is included in the Asian Games recently and it is still waiting to add up in Olympics. Rejoicing news that it is a part of Asian Games.

Shannon Benjamin the co-founder of this championship says that this year is going to be gorgeous year where as 50 couples from all age group is going to participate where as only 30 couples participated last year.

The competition will mainly consist of Latin American and Ballroom dance forms. The participants can choose from

• Jive

• Waltz

Each dance will have 3 categories which consist of beginners, pre-novice and novice. A team of five judges will give the scores for their performance based on the floor craft, stability, force, appearance and implementation of each figure, musicality and tempo. The winners are much lucky that they will have the opportunities to take part in national and international level at the analogous event.

Mr. Priti Gupta says that “Our aim is to give participants revelation through this challenge. They shouldn’t be satisfied with competing at state and national level. Being new to everyone, they can even win medals at the international level”.

The great international ballet festival is going to be held.

The fifteenth ballet dance festival of Miami is going to be celebrated where this festival will continues for more than 10 days .This festival is going to be more and more enjoyment and craze because dancers from Europe, America and United States will be joined in this festival and they will be till the end of the festival.

The director of this festival Mr. Pedro Pablo Peña is feeling and at the same time glorious and annoyed is filled in his heart, because the festival continues to draw excited audiences and it is having some financial depression and the ongoing dispute of raising money for the arts in South Florida. Even this program has a great success for 14 years financial and political support is poor till now. Mr Peña says that this festival has got many grant success than we thought. Where he only founded the Miami Hispanic Ballet and the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami carnival.

He felt much that he is not getting any support from the politicians as they involve many others activities and finally he said that we do the celebration because we adore it and he wants the peoples to understand what is culture?

This year the carnival is going to be more and more excellence because dancers from more than 15 countries are going to participate in conventional and fashionable performances, where as the great show by the by teenage medalists from various ballet competitions. The conventional “galas” will be presented by the solo performers and pair dancers from the eminent organization.

Argentina’s Estable Teatro Colon, National Ballet of Canada, Mexico’s Compania Nacional de Danza and the Hungarian National Ballet. This year has some got some special appearance where he brings some new dancer, new choreography and new companies that people may not have heard.

A small financial plan, about $100,000, prohibited the festival from presenting larger ensembles, Peña says. American Airlines, the festival’s biggest sponsor since its inauguration, believes behind the occasion is good for its image and that of Miami, says regional sales manager Keith Harrell.
