Bloco Singapura – with their hybrid fusion of Brazilian Afro Blocos and Escolas de Samba cultures – has performed in many cultural extravaganzas like Zoukout ‘08, Esplanade December Celebrations ‘08, Chingay ‘09, Worldwide Festival ‘09 and the National Day Parade ‘09. Chingay PAssion Pasar will see this powerhouse `jamming’ on the streets… solo, and also with the Zambiacongo Capoeira Group.
