The Cineworld is launching Cne-star , a worldwide hunt for passion, graceful dancers inspired by the craze of dance in the films. It is the huge audition all over the world where the audition takes place at only five places in the country where cineworld at the valley and Astley bridge are one of the places.

The judges for the Bolton contest will be Vicky Del Guidice.Head of Dawn Dawson’s Academy of Dance, in Great Moor Street, Bolton town centre, Derek Wainwright, Cineworld Bolton general manager and local radio DJs.

Mr Wainwright said ““We’ve seen people flooding though the doors to see films like Street Dance and Step Up, so we can’t wait to see people showing-off their moves.”

By participating itself the participants could win a VIP cinema knowledge and a private film selection for their friends.

It s a great hunt for the crazy dancers. So the dancers should arrive in time to avoid the disappointment given by judges. The audition starts on august 27 Friday at 10.30am where it will go for an hour. The contestant should bring the CD off the music.

Spectacular end of seventh Season “SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE”

August 13th, 2010 by soul4dance

The title of “America’s Favorite Dancer” was awarded for an 18-year-old recent high school graduate from phoenix through Audience votes and the prize amount of $250,000 grand prize. Runner-up was 18-year old froderman, Kent Boyd of Wapakoneta, Ohio, and 19-year-old won third-place finisher Robert Roldan of Thousand Oaks, Calif., on the Fox dancing contest’s live finale.

Lauren Froderman into second place….

so-you-think-you-can-dance3

You can dance

Froderman:-”I have been working my whole life for something like this”

The cheerful contemporary jazz dancer really had the ability to pick up other styles, easily taking on hip-hop, ballroom and Bollywood dances throughout the seventh season. She was able to deftly tackle a wardrobe malfunction - a dangly broken dress strap - while performing a Broadway dance during the third week of competition which was a Highlight.

Little before the crowning session the finale had a performance from a dance troop “Quest Crew”, Hip-Hop dancer Stephen “tWitch” Boss presented a duet with the talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and a tap dance by 7-year-old Luke Spring.

DeGeneres Said This might be a fun to perform.

The seventh season of the show was overwhelmed and few dancers were out from the competition. Several Rounds were there to narrow down the finalist field from 20 to 11 dancers. Judging panel is of with cool choreographer Mia Michaels and by replacing screaming ballroom maestro Mary Murphy

All happened beyond the expectations. “Surprising package of the result and the change of judge”.

At midnight, in a little girl’s room, a flight of glowing stairs emerges, which is an entrance to the wonder world. This is a world full of inconceivable fun things and unrestrained energy. However, in this apparently happy paradise, the little girl, an explorer, discovers a “Multi-Eyed Monster” who is ugly and clumsy but has a kind of heart. Unfortunately, Monster is not welcomed in the middle of elf. The harder Monster tries to gain identification of elf, the more helpless he has becomes because he simply rubs them the wrong way. As an explorer, the naive little girl follows Monster and enters a world loaded with depression and darkness, where they both experience a journey of fear and lost, and finally help each other out.

Fortunately, “Blue Cat”, the most intelligent and powerful elf, guides the little girl as a protector angel and responses gently to a series of heart-broken messages that are expressed by “Multi-Eyed Monster” out of depression. At last, under the encouragement of “Blue Cat” and the loving care of the little girl, “Multi-Eyed Monster” becomes a member of the elf group.

The three main characters are in this fantasy journey; in fact, represent three human psychological elements are-curiosity, fear, and wisdom.

Through the story of getting better lost love and friendship an adventurous fantasy journey, the dancers hope to inspire the audience to re-examine their three elements to eventually to create a wonder world of their own.

Who will win the game of Mirror Ball trophy held on New York, Nicole Scherzinger, Erin Andrews or Evan Evan Lysacek? Many will sees a tight competition of between Nicole Scherzinger and Evan Lysacek in the Dancing with the Stars 2010 ending the show by next week.

Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole Scherzinger

If you can choose the winner of Dance with the Stars who is your bet? Intended for me is Nicole Scherzinger and please this is my first personal favorite message regarding the three celebrities in the Dancing with the Stars ending on the date.

Nicole Scherzinger was really a dancer gives an entertaining performance of dance in his dance of every time and she dance and adds the point that she is not a professional dancer like Evan.

If ever Erin Andrews might win this one and then this is the biggest upset in Dancing with the Stars history.

February 9th, 2010 by soul4dance

Birmingham Dance Festival-2010

International Dance Festival is coming to the city for the second time, running for four weeks from April 19th to May 16th, 2010. The first festival in 2008 was a huge success, seeing 60 performances from 20 countries take place in venues across the city showcasing a range of dance styles from the popular to the cutting edge. We spoke to festival co-director, David Massingham, about his hopes for next year’s dance explosion.

David Massingham, artistic director of DanceXchange, is also co-director of International Dance Festival Birmingham along with Stuart Griffiths, chief executive of Birmingham Hippodrome. Massingham nurtured the first seeds of the festival and saw it grow into one of the biggest dance festivals in the world – putting Birmingham on the map as a stage for groundbreaking and exceptional dance.

Last year’s festival attracted some 25,000 people from all over the UK and used venues across Birmingham including the Town Hall and Victoria Square with 60 performances over four weeks. Alongside the shows, professional workshops and educational sessions encouraged newcomers to experience dance activities and develop dance partnerships. The economic impact on the city was huge, bringing an estimated £4.3 million to Birmingham.

IDFB-2010

IDFB 2010 will bring great dance to venues and public spaces across the West Midlands, enabling audiences to see a vast array of stimulating international work that would otherwise be out of reach, and introducing people of all ages to healthy dance activity through exciting participatory events. Through the exceptional range of work on offer, IDFB will connect with the region’s diverse population, inspire local pride and attract visitors to the city. In so doing, IDFB will raise aspirations, benefit the local economy, and enhance the cultural life of the region.

Through the outstanding quality of its work and the partnerships that support it, IDFB is the perfect showcase for the rich dance infrastructure of Birmingham and the West Midlands, supporting the West Midlands’ Culture Programme for 2012, and presenting an incredible opportunity to celebrate Birmingham as a world destination for dance.
