Dance is the wedding of movements to music. It spans culture from soaring ballet leaps to the simple swaying at school. It is dance, means of recreation, of communication perhaps the oldest, yet the most incompletely preserved, of the arts. Its origins are lost in prehistoric times of dance, but, from the study of the most primitive people dances, it is known that men and women have always danced. It can be modern dance or musical comedy dancing, both fields that were pioneered by American men and women.
Ballet dance is a form of dancing performed for theatre audiences. Like other dance forms, ballet may tell a story, express a mood, or simply reflect the music. But a ballet dancer's technique way of performing and special skills differ great dance from those of other dancers. Ballet dancers perform many movements that are unnatural for the body. But when these movements are well executed, they look natural.

Salsa Dance is a distillation of a lot of Latin and Afro-Caribbean dances. Each played a big part in its evolution. Salsa is similar to Mambo in that both have a mold of six steps danced over eight counts of music. The dances share many of the same moves. In Salsa, turns have become a significant feature, so the overall look and feel is fairly different form those of Mambo. Mambo moves usually forward and backward, whereas,Salsa dance has more of a side to side feel.
