Company Detail |
|
The American Chamber Ballet was a group of 15 professional dancers which was founded by Joel Benjamin.
Although they operated out of Carnegie Hall, the company usually rehearsed at Trutti Gasparinetti's studio. They toured and performed throughout the United States during the 1970s.
The company was presented by the International and Pacific World Artists Kazuko Hillyer with nearly 100 performances scheduled in its final year. In 1975, the group disbanded due to financial difficulties. |
